plexiglass floor?

i remember seeing in a 4x4 mag once where a guy had cut some of the sheet metal on the floor and installed some kinda plexi glass. Anyone else tried this? Might be kinda cool. I don't go muddin, so it would stay clean enuff to see out of I think...

The only people I know that have done that is the wheelstanding cars like the Jolly Rancher Mini-van. They pull weelies the whole way downt the track so they need to see whats in front of them. I would be a neat idea, but if rocks hit it, it will scratch, crack, or break. It would be cool though. I run a plexyglass windshield in my Jimmy and it works great, but gets dirty really fast, and scrathes really easy.

Lexan wouldn't be too bad, yes it will scratch but what plastic dosen't, but it's not a windshield so.....kind of a cool idea
