Another Dynomax guy- right on!!!!! I love my Super Turbos. One thing people don't know is that they have the highest flow-rate of any "performance" muffler on the market. They also don't cackle like flowmasters.

Well, there's cackle and then there's CACKLE
smile.gif
, you know what I mean, Rene- the Flowmasters seem to have a more distinct crackle during heavy acceleration than my Super Turbos. Or maybe it has something to with the altitude up here

!!!!! I know it affects ME.....................Doh!

I guess it depends on a lot of things...like headers versus manifolds, pipe size, balance tube or no, big exhaust tips or not etc. etc.

Exhaust has quite a few variables that really affect sound and performance. Even the cam you run can affect the exhuast note...

I don't find that my Flows 'cackle'...but they do have a very authoritive sound when yer 'on it'.

I've got headers with 2 1/2" duals with Flowmaster 50-series.

It's been lovely, but I have to scream now.

I recomend the MAGNAFLOWS. They are the same design as a Borla but half the cost. They are a strait through muffler sothey dont restict power, dont crackle and have notheing in the to blow out. I switch to the because I blew out three sets on my Firebird. They are about the same price as the flowmasters but better design. Check them out on the web at www.magnaflow.com It even has a dealer locator on the site. If there is no by let me know I am a dealer and can send you some. ALSO they have a life time warranty
