polyethylene fule tank

well its time for a new fuel tank and sending unit and pump. i was wondering if anyone has used one of these tanks? newer trucks use plastic tanks any cons on switching to polyethylene you know of? its for my 89 K5, 350 tbi engine. i have a new fuel pump for it. and what sending unit did you use(part number) and where you got it.. thanks!!

They cost more. That's all I can think of. Possibly more prone to punctures but the guard should take care of that.
