Im replacing my trans with a nice firm sifting one and want the best performance mount(if thats thinkable) I can get I was thinking polyurethane from enery suspension but are they really any stiffer then a stock rubber style? Also can someone PLEASE tell me which on I need because I CANNOT figure it out the truck is a 84 1/2ton 4x4 with 700R4 and 208 /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

You may want to change your engine mounts to poly at the same time. I've heard that just replacing the trans mount to poly can cause breakage, as in broken transmission case. Reason being that the engine mount being rubber can flex more than the transmission.

Just a thought /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

I'll third the "do all poly or all rubber" quotes. The adapter "feet" in particular are very weak, if the engine can twist but the transmission mount can't, somethings gotta give, and often times its the adapter.

I have a brand new one in the box just collecting dust if you're interested.
