Poor heat

Hello Friends,
The heater on my truck doesnt warms well.The air flow is good,but with a poor heat for that cold days.
I was thinking to change the thermostat.
Somebody has the same trouble in his truck?

Check you antifreeze level and if its full change your thermostat to a 195.

See if your heater valve opens all the way. I believe its vacuum operated. Im sure there is someone else that would know better. Maybe post this on the Garage forum.

Check to see if your fresh air vent (passenger side) is stuck open. If you have low vacuum that will stay open. I believe the hot/cold lever is actually manual cable and doesnt run off vacuum. Only the zones (floor, vent, defrost) is controlled by vacuum.
