Yeah, it was the new brg. Now I could cut it off. Of course, I won't know if the shim adjustment will be final so I have to be able to R&R a brg regardless. The process worked for the front diff pinion.

Yeha, youll have to cut it off now. I guess quality matters alot, thats how I take them off everyday, however, I put it under the bearing, then slam it on the vise a few times, and it settels in between the bearing and pinion more, then just tighten it with my hands.
