Popping noise from drivers side front axle

I can hear a popping noise that sounds like it's coming from the drivers side front axle at low speads (it may be there at high speed also, but I can't hear it). I'm going to jack up my truck and check the ball joints this weekend. Anything else I should check?

Axle shaft u joint? are they auto hubs?

Manuel hubs. I'll check out the u-joints also.

Check your leaf spring perches and the rivets that hold it to the frame. May be worn. Or the spring perch bolt holes. May have worn the hole out just a bit.....
