Popping noise

I have a popping noise when after breaking say for a redlight, when releasing to move forward and sometimes when after sitting still and pulling out. I have recently replaced the u-joints in rear and the spider gear in the axle, i have heard the leafs cand do this, but it sounds like a driveline issue. The popping sounds light a clunk of gear s locking in place. any ideas what this could be?

I swear it's the rear driveshaft slip yolk thing popping in and out. There's a grease zerk on the shaft -- lube it like nuts and see if your clunk goes away.
