I'm gonna guess:
Gen I: 69-72
Gen II: 73-75 Full convertible
Gen III: 76-80 Half cab, round single headlights
Gen IV: 81-91 Front sheet metal completely new
That'd be my breakdown. Actual surviving numbers? God only knows for sure but it gets less every year. There were millions though...
