is there any special way to do this? there are no instructins on the boxes, just to keep it below 30 psi, is there any special cleaning instructions? should i add thinner?

do you have marine clean, metalready and the dri filter?
if you dont have the first 2 dont use its a waste of time and your money!!!!your gonna have to thin it and dont shake it...

i do have plenty of metal ready and marine clean. what should i use to thin it out? i do not have the por 15 solvent...

I have no idea what to thin POR-15 with. I wanted to ask what T-case you have in your Tahoe.

I've sprayed POR 15 without thinning....

Spray one med. to lite coat....let it flash off.....1 hour.
Then Spray a med. coat over that.

POR15 Flows extremely well.....
at first your finish will look lumpy.....but It does flatten out.
So be careful, It RUNS.

Thin at 5% ratio. Spray pressure s/b 30 to 35 psi for high gloss and 20 to 25 psi for lower gloss. You must thin with the POR solvent but you can clean up with laquer thinner. You MUST wear a real respriator when spraying this stuff. If you get any on your skin and do not get it off before it dries you will wear it for a week or two. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
