No, it's welded. Will be easier to weld with polarity correct for flux core.

Now your setup for flux core. You will be amazed at how easier the next patch will be 
Starting to look like a truck again. I’m going over it with a white gloss for rust oleum enamel after I treated all the potential spots and seams..
That looks great! That welder will def work much better next time, and you'll be much happier and confident with your new skill. And obtw, there are very few of us who would have read the stupid manual....they are usually very poorly written and quite difficult to understand.... You did well!
Do I need to paint this or will it rust if I install as is?
I would paint it. That's probably eCoat (electro deposition) it's a very good primer in my experience, but it might be sensitive to things like UV light, etc... I'd just rattle can it with matte black or chassis paint and call it done

I painted all my ecoated panels with rust bullet. Just in case
After fixing my ventilation, I coated the floor w/ a roll in bedliner. May have been herculiner, don't remember. But feel confident that after swapping all the seals it shouldn't get wet, and if it did the roll in was good enough till it dried.
