So figured I might take this tank and turn it into something useful, looking for a little input to make sure I am on right track here. I have this tank from a R134 A/C machine actually sits inside it and is not seen to most. It has been open to air for least year and half. Could I make my decent carry on air tank that would fill 35's and up? It has PSI rating of 300 on tank stamped in it. Here is what I was thinking just need to change one port to fill/shut off to keep air in tank and figure out welder setting for handle to not burn through.

I don't see a problem with it.

I actually have 2 homebrew air tanks, one refrigerant bottle and one propane bottle. I feel better about them than I would a specifically manufactured air tank.

Thanks starting to think I asked a question that was never asked before in this world here.
