Did a little horse trading yesterday and ended up with a 27 spline NP205 from 1970,adapter and sleeve included. (swapped a set of repop GM Corvette manifolds)
Since I just finished up a T350/NP205 in my 1974 GMC K25 ,and my son a T400/NP205 in his soon to be 427 powered 74 SWB,this is a spare.
Thinking about having the case bored to the larger bearing and put in a 32 spline input,problem is I dont know of any machine shops that I trust. Hoping someone local might have a recommendation they could pass along.
Yes,I know it could be shipped out to any number of shops,not interested in the extra expensive or extended turnaround time.
