Nice! I like the K10 you got there. I didn't even know you had another truck other than your huge K5.

yep, bought it 3 weeks ago for $1100. its '86 k10 6.2/700r4/208 wiht 4" lift and 35s and a 8' plow. its got new dual exhaust with glass packs, it sounds pretty mean, but it aint fast with the 3.08's.

ps. the tarp is covering my 4L80E and 205. the 203 is sitting in the back of the k5, just waiting for the finishing parts and we are golden

nice K10. Got a pic with the blade on it? curious to see that 8 foot plow. Thats a different looking setup

heres a pic with the blade on it

$1100???? With a plow??? That makes me sick..........:doah: If the truck is as good of condition as it looks, you could sell it for $3500 up here with a plow on it.

K-series rigs in any kind of decent condition are getting harder and harder to find up here. And if you can find them, they cost a pretty penny or simply aren't for sale. Why do you think I flew to California to buy the crewcab???

x2!

actaully i've seen trucks like that around here go for 3500 with out a plow. Plows usually add 1000-1500 to the price.

well usually this truck would have gone for much more, i wasnt planning on getting another truck, i was going to buy it just to swap in the 6.2, but it was pretty clean so i decided it was too nice to part it. there is some rust whole, and some panels that are bubbling pretty bad and the frame is pretty rusted and needs some spots to be welded , but for $1100 i had to buy it. the truck spent most of its life in Upstate PA so im not surprised about the rust and it doesnt bother me. its going to be my work-horse/dd while i take the k5 apart. i always read bout other people getting killer deals, and always wished i would find one. well this is proof that if you wait good things will come:D

Because secretly you all love Cali but hate to admit it...freakin' crazy politics, some of the worst air in the world, cramped living conditions, smog Nazi central and everything is overpriced...whats not to love, lol.

BTW nice addition muddy...

Muddy,
Look on craigslist again there are about 3 good deals for diesel swaps on the MD site. One was a mid 80's k5 in balt. for $650. Another PU in waldorf (i think) for 800.

DEfinetly sounds like it:D

It seems like alot of people are dumping thier old diesels now that gas prices are/seems to be going down or because of the ulsd.

Shoot, if it runs it is. Maybe take the whole drive train as well.
