Hey guys I've got a friend that works at a tow company and they are having an auction tomorrow. He told me they have a 2000 Camero that was wrecked in the front but didn't get to the motor. He said it ran and drove fine before the wreck. Doesn't know how many miles because the keys are gone. He said the car is probably going to go for less than $1K. Should I buy it? I could swap the engine or even seats etc. and if worse came to worse I could part the thing out and make some money right? What doesn't everyone think? Sorry it is such short notice but I need a rock solid reason to tell my wife I am going to buy a wrecked car! If it is a good idea...

Buy it you will be happy and you could always sell it for more! Those ls motors are great bargaining tools.

Done and done!

I got it! Here is a couple of pics. Not bad for just over $1K. I think I am going to part it out to keep the old lady happy or get a title and resell it.
