And if so, can anyone school me up on it? Nothing pretty or graded lol just wish I could whip something up from time to time, adding a tab here or there etc.

PS> yes, it's gas too

100% argon... biggest wire/liner ya can run and pray...

Ryoken - buying a spoolmate 100 for my Miller 180 next week..

Biggest I can run seems to be 30, maybe 35 can't remember. Lately I've been doing everything with 25.

I'll need another bottle then, :(

Does your 110 have a remote switch for the spool gun? Aluminum takes a LOT of heat, even if you can hook up a spool gun I would think it would be questionable at best.(amps of the machine/duty cycle) Save your money and buy a small tig. You will be better off in the long run. I personally hate spool guns.
IMO.

no spool gun hook up

IIRC reading 19.9amps on the thing, dunno anything else at this time.

What welder? Like ryokan said, 100% argon bottle and biggest wire you can fit. 30 might be ok, 35 would be even stiffer and make it through the gun better. Your welder will probably require you to reverse the polarity too. My Lincoln 135 does. Easy to do, just two wing nuts. I haven't done a lot w/ my machine, just a couple small repairs, but I was happy w/ how it came out. Idk how it would do w/ a lot of aluminum welding, though.
