I'm interested in putting a 90's stepside bed on my '78 fleetside. How easy is the swap?

The bottom of the bed looks really awkward due to it not following the bodyline on the cab. The '67-'72 trucks look much better with those beds.

ive seen it done before, both on 73-87 trucks and 67-72. It looks pretty good on the 67-72, but in my opion they look ok on 73-87
