Post up your BB15 build progress

It's the time and drive to get it done. And the money.

New plan.

Driving the Malibu out Friday. A friend is meeting me there. Renting motorcycles for Saturday. Been wanting to do that for years. Go home on Sunday. Money saved on fuel will be spent on 2 wheel fun. Will be good to be on a KTM 300 for a day. More excited about this than BB. Sorry.
so you will be at the BBQ?

Don't worry, I told everyone the story when we ran Twin Cone Sunday....

When I saw you did Twin Cone too, I figured that story had to come up. Live and learn ya know? I hope you added to the story with Wade trying to blow up his battery too? :thumb:

Wow, that sucks Wade. Sorry man. That is the one thing that sucks about those shocks is how expensive they are to fix or replace.

Certainly did!

We took ours out for a good shake down and the steering blows!! Looks like crossover is going in sooner than later. I knew these things didn't have very good steering with a lift, but man. there is no way We could do any wheelin with the stock set up.

Brace the frame at the gear box while you are at it now, especially if you are not doing hydro assist yet

Well, I went out on a shakedown run with some Toyota guys that are coming to BB again this year. Managed to blow out another Chromo Superior u-joint, in the sand....

Now I've got to figure out wtf I'm going to do for a u-joint. I really didn't want to spend any more money on the 1/2 tons...

What are your options?

The only thing available locally are the nitro gear 300M u-joints (no bushings or bearings).

But since I probably won't have this axle under the truck for more than a year, they'd probably be fine.

toss the tons under it, you have time...

I don't have the rear axle I want yet (factory disk brake 14BFF). Plus since I have this job thing going on now, I don't have time.

Just got back from SDHQ with Nitro U-Joints in hand.

Today we got the rear blower and rear lights wired, sanded and primed the rest of the body, installed new diff covers and a pinion guard and replaced the fuel pump. I did manage to kill the fuel sending unit somehow. The gauge is now reading way past full. Is that open or grounded?

Ground wire not making full contact.:thumb:

S-10 is back together with the new Nitro joints. I finished up a few other minor things, new lightbar installed, relocate the backup lights and a few other things.

My list is almost done, good thing too since there's only one more weekend.
