Darkshadow, thanks for posting the pic of my crew cab! :thumb:

Here is TARussell's '83 dually with 10" and 38's -
dang

Not a dually but my parents custom shortbed 3+3. It has 35-1450-16 Nitto terra grapplers under a 6" BDS lift.

These trucks are awesome. I would love to have a crew cab 4x4, but seems that there aren't many around. Did GM ever make a crew cab with a short bed? Doesn't seem like there are many 4x4 duallys around either. Seems that most crew cabs are 2x4 with long bed, and most duallys are 2x4. Just wondering if these trucks posted are stock or were converted.

GM never built a crew cab short bed in our body style. They did make one in the 88+ C/K body style though.

As far as I know most (if not all) of these trucks are OE 4x4's. While rare, they're out there if you look hard enough. I flew to Phoenix, Az for mine. :yikes:

Just wondering how difficult it would be to find a long bed standard cab 4x4 and put a crew cab on it with a short bed. Would everything fit or would the bed have to be cut down?

This thread was started a while ago, and I did not have any pictures to post then, but since then I have done a little work on my Dually. It is not a crew cab, but here it is anyway.

It only has a 1" body lift with 255/85/16 (33" diameter) A/T tires.

How wide are you guys goind on stock rims?
I don't see much for aftermarket dually rims, are they available?

I want to get mine up a little this spring but don't need really wide aggresive tires on my tow rig. I need something that will not get stuck when pulling the trailer on soft ground but will wear well for the long highway miles.

Oh, here is the beast in question
