well since i tossed the idea to kirt i will be first to post it up.
i wanted to have some simple tabs for my bucket seat install to my frame's i built up. but i wanted 3 good weld points so no simple 1 sided tabs.
looked at a lot of kirts stuff. setteled on the radius body tabs for mounting panels to tube work. but we talked and had him leave the radius off and make them flat mount for both.
so end result will be this nice tab for lots of idea's . ( pic #1 )
i used 1x1 1/8 wall square tube for the frame work. then welded this to the stock bench seat brackets. still unbolts as 1 from the cab. but helps you slide the whole thing up like a stock bench . then if you are lucky or good your buckets will have slides. mine do so i can adjust each 1 seperate.
this will also get you around 1-1.5" lift in the seats over stock. and for a long leg guy like me it helps big time. my legs are streched out more for less cramped felling and i am up in the cab more and can see better and the hood is shorter to look over also.
almost done with the setup so pics of it sofar. the nut is the piviot point for the bench slide link cable to the other side for the latches.
the buckets are 4 of them from a g20 conversion van high back reclining 2 arm rest's on each for super comfort. and the best is super soft comfy......
