what ever you got, subs, amps, head units, marine grade equipment, what ever. I want to see what people are running. I'll start with mine.

touch screen Panasonic head unit, sony 10 disc changer/cd player, digital cap, Volfenhag 2000watt 2 channel amp, bridged going into the box of 3 Audiobahn 12" subs. They sound really good in the back of my blazer :D

Flat pistons are nice too. What are you going to push those monsters with?
 
I have a pair of Phoenix Gold 1200.1's I'll push them with. Each amp benched at 1550 watts. They can take considerably more than that, I'll probably go bigger later. Looks like the boxes are gonna be about 5 cubes each with about 65 inches of port area.

Been working on adding a dual alt the past couple days (260amp Iraggi). Front stage will be an active 3-way with horns, pro audio mids, and 8's powered by old school SoundStream Reference amps... should get the neighbor's attention. :D

The PPI is one of a pair I have sitting around. I haven't used them in years but cant talk myself into selling them either.
 
Is it all going in a k5? That's gonna be a big ass box :D
What are your plans for the front stage, glassing up some kicks or door mounted? Either way that's going to be a nasty loud setup, keep us updated.
 
WOW , some guys have some nice stuff here , I spent all my money on wheelin' upgrades and very little on the stereo .

Simple Sony headunit with 3 preouts , sub control , XM/Sirius controls , 7 band eq , and mp3 playback :

Box I got from stallion85 , I had two Duals that came free with my amp , then found a matching Rokford Fosgate 10 to go with the one good one that came in the box . I have no pics of the RF 10's yet . I got the box and one good RF for a driveshaft in Moab :thumb:

I don't have an amp pic online at the moment , but I took out my passenger seat ( Astro Van on the pedestals ) and installed the amp on the floor , no amp removal until you pull the seat . Power wire runs through the carpet grommet on the corner right floorboard under the a/c box next to the kickpanel vent .

No... its going in a dodge ext-cab. *ducks* I know I know. lol Its my daily driver. I cant bring myself to put a big stereo in a full convertible blazer with a bigblock and 40's. Once the blazer is done... I just might change my mind tho. :D
 
Depending on whether the equipment is worth more than the interior, letting them have the audio stuff might be worth it. The thieves that used to swipe my stuff would always "punish" the interior if you make it too hard to steal the stuff.:doah:

If I had to choose between replacing all the broken windows, seat covers, and the dash, I'd rather just leave the speakers on the curb instead! Welcome to California... :(
 
well i live in a small town and i hardly ever let my truck sit where i cant see it :D so i dont really have that problem
 
yep.. lol ive had a acouple people tell me that im the only person they know to "pimp" a k5 :cool1:
