I saw this 'Engine Overhaul' kit at jcwhitney. Has anyone tried this? $20 instead of an expensive rebuild?

I think that if I asked Kathy if she wanted me to pour metal pellets and a liquid into her oil compartment, she would answer with a loud NO! Anyway, I didn't want to take my medicine when I was a kid, and they did the job even if they tasted awful.

Any thoughts on this product?

JP...don't think i would pour any mystery cure all liquid in my oil...if it helps it will only prolong the real problem for a short time...lol.

DON'T GO THERE! Like AZBlazer said, it's like a band aid. And the other thing is, if it stops noise from everything, you won't be able to hear/feel tell tale signals of oncoming disaster; she'll just give out-probably at the worst time, leaving you stranded.

"Kathy"!?, that's a great name man. I never could come up with one for my rig, but I do talk to her/him. I think it's a him, but it's light blue, so I'm not sure. Oh yeah, I wouldn't use any thing like your describing.

A young man I once knew(no name needed) once owned a vehicle that was smoking really badly. He heard about the miracle- lead/aluminum pellets in some sort of swamp water that, if poured into the motor through the oil filler neck, would seal up the cylinders to prevent blow-by and increase horsepower. The only thing that seemed to happen was the motor ran quieter. Unfortunately, these pellets, which are supposed to melt and fill in the gaps(kind of like a rad leak sealer), never melted completely and started clogging up my oil channels and gumming up my rockers.......OOOOOOOPPPSSSS........Did I say "MY".......I meant "HIS" rockers........well........I gotta go!

I don't think Bacon has any kind of Pellets. But maybe bacon in your engine would do something. Call JC Whitney about that. New miracle cure? Oscar Meyer's Engine Restore! At you local Pep Boy's meat section.
