So...maybe I shattered my mirror this morning while pulling out of the garage. ...for the second time. The last time I did this I payed some ridiculous ammout of money to the dealer for a new one. But now they are telling me its discontinued and no one has any. Any ideas as to where I can get this stupid part?

I've seen NOS ones on eBay in factory boxes for trucks and vans. The van style has a slightly different arm on it, but the mirror head itself was the same.

I plan on getting a set of power mirrors for mine one day.

If you just shattered the glass then just go to autozone or oriely's or whatever and get a replacement piece of glass. costs me around 6 bucks each time I go crazy on it. Yes they'll have it if they say no then ask someone else or ask where they keep their glass and go look.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.:waytogo: I luckly found one in awesome shape already pulled and everything at bountiful auto.

On a side note if you haven't herd of www.car-part.com you aught to try it out. IT IS AWESOME! basically it shows you the inventory of the majority of salvage yards all over the country.

I can swear Ive looked at the ones they have at autozone and checker before. When i read the back of the package it says it will only fit 92+ blazers. I think the shape is slightly different....

i have a set of factory power mirrors from a van.

thay look 98% of factory non power chromes. but full power.

i might use them or get rid of them . who knows. ? and thay work i tested them . :D lots of wiring and the switch.

few years ago i did score a set of oem gm doors with loaded all power and oem power mirrors with correct door glass for 45 a side.:eek1::eek1::eek1:

Another possible option: I've always noticed that the mirror body itself looks the same as on the 90's trucks and Astro vans. The only difference looks like the mounting structure itself (meaning the part of the mirror that actually is used to mount to the door.) So if you can remove the mirror body where it pivots on the mount, than perhaps they are interchangeable at that point. I don't know??? They sure look the same and they'd be a dime a dozen at the part yards.

Hey sweetk30, how much would you want for those mirrors? They would be really nice on my stepside :D.
