I am looking for replacement power seat controls for my K5. I have been searching via yahoo and google for about an hour now and it seems like there aren't any. Did 1989 Silverado package Blazers come with power seats? I mean, I have a power drivers seat in mine but it could be from a different/newer truck for all I know.

I kept finding the newer style seat controls that will not work for my seat. It has the controls on the front part of the seat. The picture is out of focus but you still can see what style it is. I believe it is considered an 8 way switch. If you know where to get a replacement, point me in the right direction. Or, if you have one that works and you are willing to part with it, PM me. I would prefer new but beggers and all that...

Someone has swapped a power seat into your K5. To my knowledge, a power seat was never an option in any year K5.

Hmmm, maybe that is why I can't seem to find one.

The seats are direct bolt in. No fab work or added supports. Does anyone recognize the style of the switch and or know what it may have come out of?

my 93 blazer has the seat switches mounted on the front of the seat

Does the switch part come out of the frame?

Check out a 1989 Camaro seat switch in Rockauto. The actuators look like what you have, but the frame is different.
It looks like you might be able to take the one you have apart and replace the guts with this one.

Its under electrical-switch and relay. Click on the info button for several pictures.

I found another Blazer with power seats. The guy said they were stock. The blazer was from the 94 or 96 can't remember what he said now. I am just getting ready to do somemore searching. Thanks for the input it does help narrow things down.

Fordum, yes the it all comes out of the frame...of the seat. I don't think the switch itself comes apart though. I will have to check again tomorrow.

Okay, the seats are out of a 1992 Blazer K1500. The 8 pin power seat switch "adjuster" part number is 20702837.

The bezel is not made anymore so I had to find a used one off ebay for $10.

I found a ebay "LOT" sale that had three different power seat switches, two window switches, and a switch I can't identify for $1 and $7 for shipping...so 8 bucks for all. Good find right there even if only one of the switches work. Ad says all work but who knows. One of the power seat switches is the one I need.

Fordum, yes the switch removes from the bezel. I do believe the Camaro seat switch would work. This switch is found in a butt load of other GM vehicles. The bezels are different and the connectors are somewhat different but it is useable.

Thanks all. :)
