I have a 1996 metric power steering pump and need an adaptor to connect the factory ps hose to the metric pump. I think I need a 16mm oring to 3/8 female inverted flare fitting. My replacement hose also came with a removable fitting. All I can find are 16mm to AN adapters. I would like to retain the factory hose for ease of replacement. Any one know where to get an adapter?

That line is not stock, someone has cut the original end off and used a different "fitting" and then double flared the line.

Pete, there is a place called the parker store around 32nd st & broadway in phx, if there is an adapter made, they would have it, bring your parts so they can match it up, or they will make you a new hose.

Ended up getting the hose modified by the Parker store. They basically made me a new hose but used one end off the hose I brought in. It was about $25 for the hose and another $8 for an AN to 16mm oring adapter. I wasn't planning on getting a new hose made while I was there or I would have measured better. I may get the hose length changed if it ends up an issue.

(On the 96' style pump it doesn't have a removable fitting.)

These guys can make just about anything when it comes to hoses. I'll be going back to get my brake and A/C lines custom made.
