Would anyone happen to know a part# of the belt that runs around the crank, water pump and P/S pulley ONLY?

This is for like 76ish to 87ish stock setups. The power steering pump pulley DOES have 2 groves in this case.

Gates, dayco, Advance etc. do provide part #'s but they don't have diagrams so it's confusing.

O'reillys Auto, Gates v-belt, #7435, $19.99......No A/C

Gates v-belt, #7555, $23.99......With A/C

Just changed mine last week, can't remember the NAPA #

I also tried to find a belt that would just run from the crank pulley to the PS pulley so I could have a duel belt set up.......Never did find one that would work with the other belt.

Usually you can just measure the belt length you need and order one that matches. The part number on most belts indicates its overall length, I believe they are made in 1/2 inch increments.

UPDATE:
i actually have #7435 from the old setup and i can't get it to fit (too small). What do you think is the problem?

Gates lists #7435 for both the 4.3 AND v-8 so i don't think the pulley sizes are different between the two engines.

The problem was I was trying trying to tighten two belts that were different lengths. It came close, but ended up to loose or to tight no matter what combination I tried.

i got dayco 15445 (gates 7445 equivalent) to fit.

i'm baffled why the 7435 wouldn't fit and i'm baffled where my old belt went?
