I had a chance to go digging through a parts pile heap at a old family friends house and came across a power steering pump and bracket. He swears up and down it came off a 5.7 he just can't remember a year. I have never seen one like this before. The bracket is broke so its worthless just wondering if anyone in here knew what it came off of??? :dunno:

78-79 GM car SBC. It's missing a piece to the right of the pliers

That's funny. Seems everything has been used for that spot at one time or another. I really enjoy seeing the stack of washers.:D

Haha why does everyone have a socket instead of a spacer on these. I rock a craftsman 1/2" just Incase. It's under warrantee

Because alot of people are too cheap to buy new headers and use the correct spacer that is supplied with the headers or they didn't read the instructions and threw the spacer away.

:dunno:i dont have the upper bracket on mine that goes to the head bolt.maybe im missing part of my bracket then.i have 2 bolts in my block down below to hold it and the one through the adjuster to tighten the belt.it doesnt seem to need that one though.the 1/2 inch socket trick is pretty sweet though.gota remember that.
