Power Steering Hoses

I need to replace my power steering hoses. Is there anything special I need to know before I start removing/replacing the 2 hoses? Thanks

no not really but it can be a pain in the ars. just be sure you remember how every thing went together after ya took it apart.

Just do yourself a favor and use a flare wrench, I think its an 18 mm and DO NOT over tighten it. It will cause it to crack the flare and leak. I think these have the flare fitting and not the o-ring type.

hey,
I believe someone just posted that all 80 and up pumps were the o-ring style.
