Power Steering Problems

Ive got a 78 k20 and I just put in a new power steering pump. I got the thing jacked up and have been turning the wheel back and forth trying to bleed it for about an hour now and still no power assist. Any suggestions or tips???

Get the front wheels off of the ground and turn the wheel with the engine off a few times first.
