I have a 1987 K5 Blazer with a 5.7 liter engine with air conditioning. There's three brackets that support the power steering pump. One at bottom of the block right of timing cover, one at top right bolted to exhaust manifold and the other is bolted to the pump. Somehow one or all brackets got bent, possibly when I had the pump replaced at a shop 6-8 months ago because it use to move freely before that time. I don't know which is bent, but I think it's the pump bracket. I'm not hard-core off-road enthusiast. I don't do a lot of twisting and twisting, just use my beast to get to places to go fishing.

I've looked at aftermarket. Only one looked to be sufficient, but is chrome. Just want ole black.

I have pics and will try to upload them.

On non-A/C trucks, there is a factory round spacer that goes between the cylinder head and the upper PS pump bracket. It is about 3/8-1/2 inch thick. I'm unsure on A/C trucks without looking in the parts book. Do you have that?

Answer to your question is "no", but It looks like I need it. I acquired a power steering pump assembly, like mine, from a local wrecking yard without the two other brackets. I put it in place and have the same problem. With the lower and upper right adjustment connected the left pivot point is off to the left about 1/8th-3/16's". I noticed that the pump and crank pulleys don't seem to line-up. If I move the pivot bracket arm, left one, out about 1/4-3/8" it lines-up. I found a diagram online that shows what you're talking about, but there again is w/o A/C, which mine has.

Good. I see the three that I'm looking for. Did the power steering pump move freely before you did your swap? How much do you want for brackets?

yes I drove it least 3 times a week before the swap.

$25 plus shipping sound good? Checked with another member before I priced them.
