I have a 75K5 that I have been playing with for a little while. The only thing I don't like is the play in the steering wheel.

Recently I bought a steering box off a 90K5 on ebay. It looks the same but has different hose fittings going to the pump. I was going to just get adaptors, but I can now get an 88-91 power steerin pumps for under $40. Will the newer pump fit on the older brackets?

Thanks,
Brian

If it does not, you can just change the fitting on the back of the pump where the high pressure goes. Should look like a big bolt. It unscrews and then you can just swap them.

79 and older use std thjreads and flared compression fitting, and 80-up use metric crap with O-ring style fittings, you can swap the threaded in fitting on back of pump yes, whther pumps change din 88 i have no idea

good luck
