I never had a problem with the power steering on my 1974 Blazer until it got cold outside last week...it got down into the 40's and when I cranked it the power steering was moaning. When I tried to turn the wheel is was choppy like it would only move in increments.
I checked the fluid and it looks clear and I filled it to level.
Now it warmed back up into the high 80's and it is working fine again...
any advice? Is it still a bad pump or do they just do this?
