my power steering is leaking, i have replaced the hoses so I think I need a new pump, should I go with an upgrade or stick with stock, and if an upgrade witch one? I have 33s now but i want to go to 38s.

38's are going to put some strain on your steering, I would go with a good lifetime warranty stock replacement, they will be more forgiving and more ignorant when you will be replacing it.
If you were considering serious OFF roading I would suggest crossover, but it's probably too much work for just a DD, which I realize is what you have.
:D

yes it is a dd that will very rarelly see offroad time, so I think stock will be ok, do you think I need the brace I have heard about on this forum?

I would check the frame, if it's not cracked yet, I would put the bolt on brace or any kind of reinforcement, if it's cracked repair the crack and then put a brace.
I had a 73 that never saw any off road and the frame was cracked.
And it had 31" tires.

where does it crack?
It crack between the bolts where the steering box bolts to the frame.
Mine fell off the frame, the square piece in between the 4 holes completely broke off and fell.
:o

It might just need a seal which is a lot cheaper than whole new box. Look at it carefully and see i you can figure out where its coming from.
