1/2 ton status
i have a 454 im putting in mymy blazer and the power steering pump has 3 hoses. it has the usual in and out, but then it has one more. any ideas on what thats for or where it goes?

that extra one is part of the hydroboost system that was in whatever truck you pulled that motor out of. Normally that extra line would go up to the master cylinder and supply the boost pressure for the brake system.
x2, time to go get a hydroboost system. 
Its a good exscuse to do so. You have only one of the parts to start doing it!
But where is the fun in that?
yeah are you crazy? Its just like when I found a 2wd steering gear box and used that to justify the purchase a x-over setup.
and then bought a brand new steering box! LOL
