Where can I get a power tailgate window switch for a 1984 Chevy suburban . The one I have has stoped leting me put the window down.

Just had this problem in my truck, except it wouldn't let the window up. Was the "fix" I did removing the window safety switch about a decade ago.
Also, just because we are on the topic, the key switch completely stopped working at nearly the same time. Turned out the underhood 12V wire connector underhood stopped making contact for some random reason. Easy/lucky fix!

LMC or Classic Industries would probably have it. If you are looking to save some money, its a pretty basic momentary rocker switch that you'd be able to find at electronics suppliers. But like others have said, there are other components that are more likely culprits.
Haven't seen it on the normal online retailers. If you want a good alternative, search my name and window switch. Might be what the doctor ordered.
If it is the switch try the dealer as that switch was used way into the later model vehicles.

It is definitely the switch . I made a jumper wire in place of the switch and the window went up and down.

I found a switch that that will work at my local CARQUEST auto parts.Got the window working good today.
Wanna share the part number for others?
For future searchers, I blasted mine with brake cleaner, wire brushed the terminal and connector, doused it with electronic cleaner, then dielectric greased it. Worked great!
