power tailgate window

hey i have a 84 blazer and the power window is stuck about half way up, i push the button and it make a kind humming sound but don't move anybody know what it could possibly be....

humming sound could be the motor siezed up or the window in a bind, maybe . I assume its a different humming than when is was working?

Im having problems with my window too. To access the motor take off the panel on the inside of the tailgate. To move the window you are going to have to use a drill. Unscrew the cable from the window motor and hook it into your drill to turn it. My motor will spin with the cable unhooked but as soon as I hook up the cable it it sounds like its struggling to move an inch.

Just got the truck and its the only sound it ever made, I'm not sure if I gotta replace the motor or what, just would be nice if the damn thing would operate, thanks for the info ill have to try the drill thing...
