Just got new window seals put in from LMC, and they are tight as heck...the windows almost didnt roll up the entire way after putting the new seals in. I have to assist the driver window to close the last few inches now, which wasnt the case before. Is there something I can do to "lube" the seals to make the window glide up easier or something?

I could be wrong, but I think it is the seals. I have been told that LMC uses universal weatherstripping that does not fit like OEM. I have had LMC's in my truck for years and have had nothing but problems. I have used spray lube but it is only a temporary fix. I just ordered some from Classic Parts and I am hoping they are better.

I think you are right....my guy had me over a few times, took them out to make sure they were right kind, we kept double checking my bill and the box....and they seemed to be right...however my windows wont go the entire way up....and before they were perfect.....the guy even called a buddy to come over who does windows, and he took the motors out, cleaned them, double checked them, think he replaced wires and such, and my motors were perfect....so its the tightness of the damn seals....sucks $100 down the tube....I gotta basically go the ghetto roll up on the drivers side, thank God it doesnt rain much in SoCal, or my interior would be getting wet since sometimes it only goes up to within an inch....

Well, when I get my new seals in, I will try to update you and let you know how they work.

I would appreciate an update on your new seals as well. I am about to pull the trigger on a full set of seals from classic as well.

Cheers,

Rufus
