Power window won't go last 1/2 inch

Even with 2 hands clamping and lifting the glass while the wife holds the switch won't get my window up all the way. It will go up to the weather stripping, but not in it. Just enough to be annoying in the wind. Any ideas? Could it be possible that a part got installed that isn't compatible? Any ideas?

I had the same issue. I had some really worn wether stripping. Roll the windo all the way down. Take a screw driver and run it down the winfow channel. Should remover the blockage.

I will look for an obstruction, but it wouldn't go up into the channel with the old or the new weather stripping. Maybe I can detach the window and see if I can slide it all the way. This will tell me if the issue is in the mechanism or the channel.
