Power windows \'91 Full-size

Having a problem with driver's window. When putting up or down will just stop. Will resume if I wait a minute or so about a half inch at a time. Have replaced the switch. Didn't help. Anyone encountered this?

did you put a meter on the switch when the window
stops that will tell you if you have a open or just a bad motor

I just took apart the passenger door, removed the whole regulator and cleaned it up really good. Regreased the gear and now it works great. Hope this helps.

Mine did pretty much the same thing when the motor was shot. If it moves REAL slow when it does roll up/down, its pretty safe to assume that motor is worn out.

Mine was just nasty dirty...once I cleaned everything up it runs just fine.

My '88 passenger side window takes about 2 min to roll up or down... Is this the motor going bad???
