Anyone every try a Powerglide with a t-case? I've heard of it a few years ago but never seen it done.
Thanks
Thanks
It would have to be a divorced case since the PG doesn't have a removable tail housing.
The Glides do have a removeable tailhousing(Shorty Glide in a Dragster), 1st gear would be awfully high, but they are really strong.
.i've never ever seen a factory gm PG w/removable tailhousing...i do not believe they even made them..i've seen them w/2 big holes in bellhousing on the 1's behind 6's....i actually posted about this less than a month ago..asking what to get a divorced 205 out of, so i could run a PG in my comp mud truck.
show me a pic, b/c if they did make 1, i need it & make a custom adaptor
Actually,Powerglides had one of the lowest first gear ratios in an automatic,1:76 to one, till they came out with the 700R4's...
