I can't use this alternator on the GenVI 454. Bought it last year, and paid about $290. Used it in the crew cab up until last week when I pulled the engine.
It is a 1-wire unit with v belt pulley. It is capable of putting out 150 amps at idle and 185 amps max. Below is a picture of the proof of performance card.
