Hey folks

I was wondering if anybody has any experience with them I had just purchased two a LOCKRITE for front and a POWERTRAX traction system for the rear.

My Jimmy is all stock, I was just wondering what I’m going to be running into. I hoping it didn’t by any junk.

Thanx.

I've got the cheaper lockrite in my 12blt rear and it works good. I've never really abused it 'cause that ain't how I drive but they seem good to me.

I had a lockright in the rear with a 4 speed and I hated it. I ended up going to Detroit and putting the lockright in the front. :D This is a good set up except for the 10 bolt axles and outer u joints that I have broke. :doah: Now I have 14 bolt and D60 on the floor of my shop and two Detroits on order. :D

You hated it because you had a 4 speed , autos are more forgiving as far as driving with them .

I have one in my 12 bolt , and I drive it everyday and love it . You do have a learning curve with the handling charecteristics , but it passes quickly :D

I have lockrights in my Jeepster d44 and d27 and like them real well, I have done a decent amount of abusing to them, and they are holding up well.
