ppg paint mixing help

i have ppg DAR and dtr602 and advantage hardener dar says 8 parts and and the dtr says 6parts(written in pen on sides :dunno:)the paint store is now closed.i'm trying to paint a motorcycle helmet.

i used advantage312 2k primer w 305 catalyst , limco ps21nr 1k sealer

i think its 4 1 1

yeah, 4 parts paint, 1 part hardener, reduce to desired viscosity..
 
yeah, that's no good... use the reducer or thinner and paper towels...
 
I once had a helper kid do that to me... mixed my clear for me and didn't add hardener.. came in the next morn after clearing out about 7 cars the night before and they where still tacky.. wtf! took all day, about 5 gals of reducer and 10 rolls of paper towel to get it off...
 
atleast you could kick somones arse.i cant hit myself that hard:doah:. my daughter katelyn (6yrs old) is really mad she helped me sand it and then mix the paint.
 
well got it strpied down,i used a plastic putty knife and then thinner.
i will try to repaint it today using the 4-1-1 mixing ratio
