I thought long about this setup, it's pretty great.
My only problem is, when I take the rig out, I pretty much live off the tailgate. Coolers, camp stoves, cutting boards, you name it. I didn't want to be stepping over my spare all the time.
I do like it a lot though.

I want a roofrack to hold my spare tire.
Until you actually have to use that spare tire. Mine was up there many years ago.

This man speaks the truth. It's a pain in the sack getting it up there and back down.
I hear you, I use the barn doors daily. Need something simple to get the dogs in and out of the back.
This is the best solution I've been able to find. Dual swing outs, I can still open everything in a parking lot between two other vehicles.

no, that one inside was a freebie from a friend. so i have 6 now.
Ya'll need to check out Aarons (Mosesburb) swing out. It folds in half on itself. Great design...

His name is Nick. And yeah his swing out is cool, I really like the fact that he used a dana44 hub for it so he can lock it in place.
Tried searching for this, came up empty handed.
