Pretty sure I over heated my 700r4

I was driving down the interstate made it about 50 miles then I started seeing white smoke so I pulled over and the while under side was coated on ATF then opened the good and could see where ATF was comming out of the dipstick tube.

What now? change the fluid and hope for the best or go head and swap the transmission out.

Make sure the breather tube on the top of the transmission isn't plugged. Just change the fluid and filter....damage is already done. It may last you awhile. My 400 overheated and burnt the oil good I changed it all out and still running on it. If it's toast you'll know.

What's the best way to clear the breather stick a piece of wire down there?

I used a piece of mig welding wire.

Ya its probably done then It sill drives but it was crappy to start with ill probably just park it for the next few months till I get the money to fix it.
