My tires are starting to have some pretty bad dry rott. Was wondering if anyone knew of any successfull means of preventing or fixing dry rott on tires, i was thinking tire foam cleaner?

not really anyway to fix it, but the best way to prevent it is to keep them clean on a regular basis. Mild soap and water is my preference. I don't know how well the foaming stuff works.

Tried tire foaming one, cleaned em up real nice but I see more dry rot now :( not sure if it just shows it more or made it worse....

It is just showing more. The only fix is buying new tires. If they aren't loosing chunks don't worry about it.

id say the same thing.a tire is about 1/2 inch thick.if it aint showin too bad on the outside with big cracks deaper than 2/32s you should be fine.ive heard the only real way to prevent dryrot is to keep em clean and to drive on them on a regular basis.the heat will keep the innards dryer and keerp the tire in good shape outside also

It was explained to me once that most all of the tire shine stuff acually drys your tires our MORE. Once you start using it you need to use it all the time to keep the rubber "conditioned". Best thing to do it just wash them with soap and water and leave the tire shine bullsh*t for the rice burners.

Keep them out of the sun. and use Silicone spray or Protectal on them often.
