I am going to buy a 465, a 205, and a 203 off of Fireplug, and we are trying to get a decent price so we both don't get ripped off.

He knows what he has, and I know what he has.

There's no doubler, they are all seperate parts. As too whether or not they all have adapters I am not too sure, Fireplug would know...

But he has many 203 apparently, so maybe he won't know his exact inventory.

So what would you guys pay to get these parts.

I know some of you have found sweet deals from trades, or off of people who don't know what they have, so don't include those. We need a fair price...

And thanks

it depends greatly on which versions of 465, 203 and 205 you are getting

A 10 spline 205 = $100 ish, a short 32 spline can go for $400 easy

Okay, so any other price differences???

What if they come with adapters??

And which is the best 205 to grab??

Say he has said 10 spline, and a 32 spline. Which should I go for, and can I swap out shatfs? And how hard would it be to find a 32 spline shaft to swap in if I DID buy a 10...

Also since he has a number of T-cases, which setup would I look for to make everything work?? ie:465/203/205...

If you are building a doubler you are gonna need a 32 spline input 205. swapping inputs isn't that hard if you are mechanically inclined but it does require complete disassembly of the 205 to machine the bearing bore for the larger 32 splines input bearing so if you can find one it is easier to start with a 32 spline input.

For the 203 I would look for one that mates to the tranny. If it is an old 10 spline out put the the 10 spline input 203 would be best. If it is a 32 spline output then a 32 pline input is best. You would also need an adapter for between the 465 and the 203.

IMO:
10 spline 205 = $200
32 spline 205 = $300-400
203 = $100-200 Higher nend if it is the right one w/ adapters
465 = $100-200 depending on model and condition

another thing to remember is that the 3 people who have given prices so far are all west coasters, prices very greatly by region

There are not alot of Canadian guys on here... Let alone guys from southern Ontario...

I think it is just me Jay, and Dave.

So that's why we took the pricing here, to get a good average.

I'm in NE and I usurally get $250-$450 for a 10spline 465/205 combo depending on condition. Usurally around $250 but I got $450 for one that had 80K origonal miles with peddles and all the linkage for a manual conversion. 32spline 465/205's are a bit higher.

203's range from $50-$200 depending on what they are for. 27spline ones are $50,10spline ones for the 465 are a bit hard to find,32spline ones are a little more uncommon too but not so bad as the 10spline version.

32splien 205's range from $275-$400+ especially if they have the adapter. The th400 adapter alone is worth $100-$200 depending on who's buying and how bad they want it. I've seen them bring $225 on Ebay.

You can check Pirate4x4.com for a list of my inventory to see what prices I have listed there.
