price quote

If it is a friend or someone I work with who I like I usually charge some beer, as long as they help. Gives them a learning experience and when your done both can sit around, drink a few beers and shoot the %$#@ for a while.

the guy is second in comand at the place i work at and no he didn't help neither did his kid he's a good guy and i like his son. i fabbed up a new rear bumper to fit also. i was thinking 150 i have a total of 8 hours into it and i still have to fix a coolant leak that the truck has.

Personally I think that if you used your tools and equipment its worth $30.00 per hour at least. If the guy thinks thats to high, offer to match prices with any real shop in the area, a local guy gets $ 400-500 to do a jeep TJ 2 inch body lift

are regular labor rate is about 60 per hr where i work. when we do a kit we tell them ball park time and possible more for rusty parts and its the same price for that as regular labor.

i wish some one would come up with a shop labor book for this stuff.

There is one... I don't know the name of the program, but my shop has one that can tell you the labor time for 99% of all repairs (that's book time) and then print out a quote based on that book time.
