I'm looking a both a new Dana 60 and Corp 14 bolt for my 72 Jimmy. Both are setup with 4:56 gears and the bearings seem to be good. The Dana 60 will cost me $700 and the Corp 14 will cost me $150. Am I getting ripped on the Dana 60 deal?

if its in good shape you are doing a very good deal.unless you go to a pick and pull place where they just charge by the part you will not get that kind of deal.i got my 14 bolt for 150 also.dana 60's are very hard to find.ive only found one at the junkyard but it was gutted.

A D60 with 4.56s already in it for that price (especially in the Bay Area) is a STEAL!

If you don't buy it, I will.....and I don't even need it! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I got my set for $900 and consider that a "steal" for the Bay Area.

Any D60 below $1000 around here is pretty darn good, getting a matched set for sub-$1000 is a great find.

....like I said before, if you don't jump on those let me know and I will be happy to go grab them.

I've got a couple of guys looking for a D60 in so cal..very hard to find, thats a very good deal.

You guys should be happy with those kind of prices. Here in western Colo. (near Moab) they'r almost impossible to find (damn Jeepers grab em) /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif.

I just did. I actually picked both of them up for $830 delivered to my house. The guy even threw in the u-bolts and spring mounts for the D60.
