pro comp 17x9 4.75 back space on 76 k20

I have them on my 8 lug blazer with 37 13.5 17 toyos. I think they are perfect. I was looking for a little less backspace but there were not many options for me. Turns out it didn't matter. My rear axle is probably a little wider than yours, its the AAM 10.5 from an '02. '73 D44 in the front.

Thanks I have been researching this and could find very little real world experience.

@HankScorpio do you steer from driver or passenger side knuckle. If driver side do you rub on pitman during right turns?
Good observation, I do have crossover to the passenger knuckle and my steering arms are an odd offset arm to clear an H1 wheel. The axle was originally built for a jeep where I wanted a narrower track width.

The cucv had 17x9 4.75 backspace and 2" rear spacers. Not bad with 37s.

I have the pro comps with same backspace with 35x12.50x17’s on tons and the tires don’t stick out beyond the fender more than 1/2 inch in front, not at all in back. I have a bit over an inch clearance between the tie rod and inside of the wheel. Have x-over as well.

I'm pretty convinced the body lift is screwing with the alignment along with a 30yr old suspension and bushings. Just waiting for bonuses to come in so I can fix that.
